Kids Literacy Collective Event

On Monday September 21, our school playground will be home to a 'Words in the World' event, where children can hunt for fun words, read a big storybook, and visit the Little Red Reading House van which gives away free books. The Kids Literacy Collective would like to invite families to stay and play at this public event from 3:30pm - 5pm. As this is not a school event, all students participating must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Members of the Kids Literacy Collective and students from Mount Royal University will be set up outside to supervise and hand out some free after-school snacks including fruit, gummies, and ice cream. 

NOTE: There will be a small film crew at the school, getting footage that could be used on Global News. Please be aware that if your child is in the playground area from 3:30pm - 5pm that day, they may be filmed as part of this.
