September Learning Update

Hello Families,

Thank you to the families for attending the “Meet the Teacher” evening and making time to see me on Thursday to celebrate your child’s learning.

September has been a busy month for our Kindergarten students. We have had an amazing start and students are gradually settling in our class routines. In our Kindergarten program at Vista Heights we refer to a continuum of programming that is developmentally appropriate and meets the diverse needs of all young children and their families. We provide all our students with multiple opportunities to participate as active learners according to their individual needs and abilities. We have been working on building our Kindergarten Community routines to establish our classroom expectations, which are imperative for a successful learning and teaching environment. Laying a strong foundation for our Kindergarten students through meaningful experiences is the key to student success. We are excited to build a learning community where we foster our student’s natural curiosity and eagerness to learn through structured, organized activities promoting purposeful play.
